A significant factor affecting residents’ loss of amenity is the late licensing hours granted to local premises in the ward. The hours applied for at Sausage and Mash are excessive, beyond those granted to surrounding restaurants such as those in the Spitalfields Estate and the neighbouring English Restaurant, which are only licensed until 2300.
ASB, public nuisance and disturbance caused by patrons leaving premises with late licences are already having a detrimental impact on the lives of residents.
